Fantastic work guy (and girls?)…The OLPC is just getting better and better.
I’m seriously thinking that using an ‘OLPC distro’ on a normal PC would be the best way to introduce my 4 year old daugther to world of computers – unfortunately if likely that I’ve never get to buy one of this machines myself.

Very very nice! I wanted to know what language and toolkit miniTamTam uses, the blog should link to http://wiki.laptop.org/go/TamTam:Source_Code_Overview which answers these questions.
Maybe you should update http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TamTam
It might be clearer if the icon for a user-defined mic or synth changed after you define it.
